The Marston House..
Posted on October 27, 2009
I had a few sessions at the Marston House this weekend… thanks to my friend and fellow photog Amber for the location find! The grounds over there are beautiful with big grassy areas, lots of bricks, weathered stairs, trailing paths.. it is almost unending the number of backgrounds one can find.
Here are just a few for the B family.
Have I told you how much I love repeat clients?? I think I have..
These sweet little misses have grown taller, and sweeter over the past year and it was my joy to capture their precious faces yet again.
Their fabulous mamma always seems to find the cutest matching dresses for the girls to wear. This year.. it was glorious silver.. It makes me almost want to adopt a sister for my little miss.. but then I remember how sassy she is, and I run far away from that train of thought…
Love Silver Dresses..

Some fierce sisters in Ventura..
Posted on October 19, 2009
A few weeks back, my hubs and I drove up to Ventura for a headshot session. We used to live up there, years ago, when our babies were small, and our dreams were big. We had a 6 hour round trip, so we had a lot of time to talk and laugh. And, at one point, I believe I got pissy with my husband because he made some mean statement about girls.. and well..umm… I’M A GIRL!!
But I digress.. We also had moments of unintended silence as we waded through our memories on the good ol’ Highway 101. We did not miss the crazy traffic on the 405, nor the smell of manure as we drove by the Camarillo strawberry fields. We missed our home group that used to meet in our house, and the bagel shop that we would frequent on our trips down to San Diego. I missed my sweet chubby babies that grew into elementary school children before I was ready. Life.. it hurts so good.
Here are a few quick peeks at my favorites of the day. These beautiful women are starting a ministry called Firelight (I will post the link when their site is live) and I had the privilege of capturing their beautiful faces. God is going to do huge things through this group of sisters.. I know it.

Sarah Tolson presents another squishy day for me..
Posted on October 2, 2009
Oh, how I have loved this little one since I first saw her face. She has lots of older brothers, so you can well imagine how much her momma is loving dressing this precious thing in all pink!
Pink is what I see when I look at her too… soft pink cheeks, little rosebud pink mouth, sweet pink and cream skin… Can you tell I am obessesed?? I would have taken her home if I could have.
One day, someone is going to say yes to that question. I just know it!!
And seriously.. can you blame me?? This little Miss is more than welcome to sit in my fruit bowl, as a centerpiece anytime.
Love Pink..
